As a player Johan Cruyff helped Ajax win the European Cup three times in succession (1971-1973) as he won the European Player of the year three times between 1971 and 1974. In his first season as a player with Barcelona he helped them to recapture the Spanish League title after a 14 year absence. He became an emblem of the football-mad Catalan city after helping the team to defeat main rivals Real Madrid 5-0 in their own stadium. The shirt comes pre-printed with Cruyff's number 9 on the rear as shown.
